As a newly minted member of the Autograph Collection, Hotel Effie enters the brand’s unique portfolio of diverse and dynamic properties, with more than 295 hotels globally.

Hotel Effie was recently awarded four new accolades by VIP Destin Magazine.

Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort announces the appointment of Juan Bochenski as executive chef of Hotel Effie. Bochenski assumes the position immediately, helming the kitchen at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Ovide, and overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations across the hotel’s four restaurant outlets and in-room dining.

This is the first time the property has attained this prestigious honor since its highly anticipated opening in 2021. The award is received in parallel with the 50-year anniversary of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, an experiential mainstay for multigenerational travelers for half a century.

Emerald Coast Storytellers, a local creative writers group, is launching a series of Story-Pairing Dinners in 2023. The first event will be held on Tuesday, February 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Hotel Effie, located within Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
